This is my parents house and where I grew up in. It’s a lovely house in West Virginia. But whenever I visit them, I feel like a giant in there. I’m constantly inundated with memories and I can’t help but revert back to when I was a teenager. How Loki puts up with me, I don’t know. He deserves a medal.

This was taken at my grandmother’s in Phoenix, Arizona. The photo is in really bad shape and probably getting worse, so it seems a good time to scan it and keep it digital. Probably just a cheap poloroid shot from 1969. Those "paintings" above us are "paint by number" works that were done by my mom in the 50s. Silly tropical scenes.
31/08/2008 (Day 2.244) – Parents

Today we met up with my immediate family, for the last full get-together before our emigration. There are a few more photos to follow (here, and elsewhere), but I grabbed this informal self-portrait with my parents and my brother. You can tell which one of us is used to posing for the camera on a regular basis, can’t you
A year ago today I was indulging in beer and chips.

Happy couple: grand-parents
One can be very coquette at 66 too!
There is not age that tells you "stop!"
on the contrary! one can feel even more free to express herself (himself) at later ages
